I wish Jon Gaunt wouldn't try to be funny. He just can't do funny
and trying maniacally to be funny just makes things worse. It's like a
teenager watching his dad trying to dance, excruciating, and the harder
dad tries the worse it is. Also he tries to play the numbers game, and
get as many callers on as possible? The trouble with that is that even
callers who are making good points and have something to say are quickly
thrown of the air so that the next one can be rushed on and quickly
thrown off. It's surely quality not quantity we want. I do listen to his
show but only because he usually features topics that people feel
strongly about and certainly not because of his presentational skills.
